Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Our response to the current crisis should be MORE positive than negative. Life is literally too short! Let's light a candle instead. Sign-up for adoration time. I have a proposal: two regular adoration times—Wednesday evening, and all day Friday. This can only happen if we are able to have 3 committed adorers per hour. Having 3 committed adorers allows for plenty of flexibility, so that none feel unnecessarily 'tied down'. Are you coming to spend time with God? Or, is God coming to spend time with you?! It is a privilege to talk to God, it is even more of a privilege that he listens and speaks back to you! Come visit the hidden Jesus, like little St. Francisco.

Proposal: We propose two regular adoration times each week, Wednesday evening, and all day Friday. This can only happen if you are able to commit to an adoration time. Therefore, IF you sign up, AND all the slots are filled, THEN we can put our proposed schedule into effect. Please see the sign up lists posted near the stairs. Please sign up now, but understand that what you sign up for will only go into effect if all the pieces come together. We will advertise that very clearly if and when that happens.

In the meantime, even though you signed up for a new schedule (on a new time or the new day, perhaps) we are going to keep the current schedule, until further notice. I know this is confusing, so I'm trying to be clear. Sign up for the new thing, but keep doing to old thing, until we are ready for the new thing, okay? Whew!

Superiors: One of the benefits of Catholicity is the hierarchy. If I ever step out of line, you have recourse not only to the local bishop, whose parish this is, but also to the District Superior of the Fraternity of St. Peter. Call or write: His Excellency Bishop Barry Knestout 7800 Carousel Lane, Richmond VA 23294, or Fr. Michael Stinson, FSSP, District Superior, at 450 Venard Rd., South Abington Twp., PA 18411. You are the best parishioners in the world! Thank you for making my job easy. Thank you for your support. Let us pray for each other.
