Feast of St. Joseph 2014

The Feast of St. Joseph was a nice mid-lent celebration for the parish.  We had the privilege of three well-attended Masses this day, crowned by a Solemn High Mass mid-morning.  Fr. Eric Flood, FSSP, was the celebrant, Fr. Novokowsky was the deacon and Fr. Marsolle the subdeacon.  Fr. McNeely helped out the choir and schola.  Fr. Flood preached about the tremendous gift of the Mass, and how we properly conduct ourselves in receiving this gift. A Luncheon Reception hosted

by the Padre Pio Society (Thank you!) followed Mass and was attended by about 75 parishioners. Fr. Flood again addressed the audience, focusing on the idea of gratitude.  We at St. Joseph's, he said, have what many desire and don't have.  Deo gratias!
