All Saints Celebration
- Updated on Monday, March 30, 2015
This year's All Saints' Celebration was held on Friday evening, November 1st. After the 6 pm Low Mass, we had a chili and cornbread dinner. A new addition this year of dipped caramel candy apples were fun and delicious! After feasting, everyone was treated to the Parade of Saints by the children of our parish. The costumes were cute and creative, as always. The children did a wonderful job presenting their saints to Fathers Novokowsky and Marsolle. Even many adults learned about saints they had not yet heard of! We all then moved over to the Saint Joseph Room which was filled with fun games
themed around the saints. The children enjoyed winning candy and prizes while playing games such as Saint Kateri Tekakwitha's Archery Challenge, Pin the Keys on Saint Peter, Purgatory Pumpkin, and of course, one of the favorites (if not, THE favorite) was Father Novokowsky's game of pugil sticks or "Spiritual Warfare!" A great time was had by children and adults alike!
