ACTIVITIES
Horseshoes Tournaments: Adults ($1 to enter per team. Winner of each tourney receives a bottle of St. Michael Wine!)
Archery Tournament : Teens & Older Kids - with small prizes
Dodgeball “Cave” Games: Younger Kids - with small prizes
Above Games are themed on St. Michael’s First Apparition on Mount Gargano in honor of his feast day on Monday, September 29th!
Angel Trivia: Seniors- ($1 to enter per participant. Winner receives a St. Michael Rock from Monte Sant’Angelo!)
Pie Cook-Off: Everyone- There will be a panel of judges for our 2 competitions!
-Pies must be labeled “ADULT” for the 18 & over competition or “CHILD” for the 17 & under competition.
-ALL pies must be NUT-FREE (Fr. N. has a nut allergy)
-Each participant must bring 2 pies per entry- 1 for the potluck and 1 for the cook-off.
-$3 to enter per pie entry. Participants may enter multiple pies. Winner of each receives a St. Michael Apron!
All entry fees are to help cover prizes and any excess will be used for future parish events. To volunteer for Activities, please contact Victoria Sanctafamilia at 804-592-8055 or by email at: kids@stjosephrichmond.org.
BULBS FOR SALE
American Heritage Girls will be helping anyone interested craft “Apple Dolls” for FREE. They will also be selling Fall Flower Bulbs as a troop fundraiser. Please stop by their table for fun and to also support our
parish troop!

POT LUCK LUNCHEON
Please see the sign-up list (window wall – social room) for potluck committee and food sign-up for Sunday, Sept. 28 and for people to help with set-up, food receivers, banquet table, etc. on Saturday, Sept. 27. Also, you may contact Megan Bean, our Potluck Coordinator at 804-894-2894.
Please bring your own lawn chair.
We are asking the people providing cold dishes to bring food in a cooler on ice and warm dishes in tins that are 10x13 or 20x13 (chafing dish size). PLEASE LABEL YOUR ITEMS.
We will not be using indoor refrigeration nor will we be using ovens that day. Please bring your beverages and dishes to the Pavilion between masses and there will be helpers to receive your contributions.
